| Re: Satellite Broadband? I live 3 miles outside of town. Just out of reach for DSL. Insight cable ends 1/2 mile down the road. Insight quoted me $9000 to set me up. I understand they are having problems getting cable to some of the new homes up the road and many of them have been going with our local WISP. An Insight rep told me that they have to have 10 houses per line mile to break even. There's never going to be 10 houses per line mile, at least not in my lifetime.
