Broad Censorship?

Is it me or is 'child porn' just an acceptable cover for them to implement content filters and 'walled gardens'?
Why are consumers think this is good and are accepting this?
Can you imagine the uproar this story would create if you replaced 'Mobile Alliance/GSMA' with Comcast or TimeWarner? Why it is acceptable for cellphones but not for your home isp?
Both of them MUST be nothing more than a 'dumb pipe'!
