If you order before noon their time, chances are pretty good it will ship same day whether you choose it or not. If I order something after 12 and before 2, I'll choose it if I'm in a hurry but I've found I have about the same chance of it being shipped that day regardless of whether I choose it or not. I usually place 3-4 orders a week.

Thanks for the answer i just have placed my order with Rush processing i do not want to wait.
Here is what e-mail say's -------------------------------------------------------------- IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, Newegg.com's MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THIS RUSH ORDER FEE ONLY. WHILE NEWEGG.COM CANNOT GUARANTEE SAME DAY SHIPMENT FOR ALL ORDERS, NEWEGG.COM WILL PUT FORTH OUR BEST EFFORT TO SHIP THIS ORDER ON 2/18/2008, OR YOUR RUSH ORDER PROCESSING FEE WILL BE REFUNDED. --------------------------------------------------------------
I've found NewEgg Itself to be VERY Reliable with getting your order Shipped out Pronto...
However, Once your Order is put in the hands of the Shipping Company (UPS, FED-EX, etc.), then it's really Beyond NewEgg's Control... I've had orders come in the *Next Day* (having ordered it in the Early AM on the day before), but I've also had orders that ended up in the "Black Hole" (AKA the UPS Hub in Chelmsford, MA.) for 4-5 Days or more...
It being ordered this early, I say you have a 95% chance of it shipping Monday WITHOUT paying the additional fee.
Also, if it is something fairly standard, chances are it will ship out of Memphis and you may get it Tuesday. Most of my stuff ships from Memphis these days and I get it next day.
I've placed many orders with Newegg over the last 6 years, as has been said, if you order early in the day the order will almost always ship the same day anyway. I did have an order that I needed pretty quickly a few months ago that I paid the fee, and used UPS second day delivery. It didn't ship that day, but, the 'egg shipped it overnight and it was received the day it should have been received. And, the RMA process is the simplest and most painless of any company out there. You can even buy a UPS prepaid label for your return from them at a fair price.
I have not shopped at Newegg for a long time i did not know i will get the item within 1-2 i thought UPS Ground takes about 3-6 days.
Newegg's standard shipping is 3-day UPS. If they ship from a warehouse close to you, you can get it sooner. Once your order gets further into the process, you can view it and it will show the warehouse it will ship from.
Many times I've ordered before noon with ground shipping (and no rush processing) and received items from their east coast warehouse(s) the next day. Can't beat that service.
All those big stores like Bestbuy,Office Depot etc.. will charge you arm and leg lets say you need USB cable for your printer it's $20 (without tax) in store. Newegg's price $10.00 with shipping.
I know someone who does not like to order only and buy's his stuff from Office Depot he got a computer for $1500 when you can get one online for $900
I have ordered from Newegg for years now, and I think I've done it once. I don't think it matters. I've ordered stuff as late as 2PM eastern, and it's been shipped out the same day.
Assuming I take the standard UPS shipping, if it's from PA, I get it the next day. If it's from TN, I get it in 2 days. California, 3 days.
If you really need something super quick, change the shipping method. I don't think the "rush processing" has any effect--they are quick little devils there at NE.
there was a video floating around about what an order goes through at NewEgg. All the items of an order are loaded into blue tubs on big long conveyer belts. If you opt for rush processing, your bin is red and they fill red orders before the blue ones.
*shrugs* My newegg orders have always been processed lickety-quick. Hell, I order their 3-day saver, and more often than not, the product is at my door in only one or two.
So rush processing...I'd have to give it a pass. They're already quick enough, you don't need to throw them the extra dough to be even quicker.
It depends on just how far you are from NewEgg's closest Regional Warehouse (California, Tennessee, New Jersey, etc.)

Not for me it doesn't. While I live in TN, I have never gotten ANYTHING from the TN warehouse, it always comes from CA, yet I have to pay the darned 10 percent TN taxes! I don't shop from them now because of it, and because there are so many other great dealers too.
I would rush process only on your very first order from newegg, simply because most online retailers take extra time to make sure your credit card and shipping information isn't bogus. but once you've ordered with your login account a few times, I doubt rush processing will matter unless you order from them late in the work day.
I requested rush processing for an order that I submitted in the afternoon and wanted to ship that day. As best that I could tell the only difference in processing was to pocket the extra fee. Although the order was processed and my credit card was charged, it didn't ship until the next day. I believe that Newegg releases orders destined for the northeast to the same distributor in Pennsylvania that fulfills orders for other vendors.
I did have a problem with rush order once. I ordered on a Sat. morning. 8am EST. UPS invoice was 3pm Sun. UPS picked up 11am Mon.
I negected to remember that I paid for Rush and asked about it 2 weeks after delivery. Was told I had to request the refund within 7 days.
I saved more than the Rush fee in the sale and free shipping of the 2 items so it wasn't a big loss. I'm still happy with their service, do order from them, but won't do Rush any more. There really is no need for it.
