1 edit | I was with RipNet before signing up with Bell, and it definitely wasn't a smooth ride. I signed up with RipNet back in spring 2005. It works well for the first few months, but it quickly became problematic to have a solid connection, especially during the night. Frequent disconnects, massive slowdowns, slow speeds almost every night. I think they overloaded the tower I was pointing at, because at about 11pm at night, my speeds would be great again.
I'd go with Xplornet if I was you. I think they have much cheaper packages than RipNet. I think there's always that odd chance that whatever ISP you go with, you can run into a lot of issues. For me, Bell has been flawless in terms of reliability, consistency, and overall performance. |
