The corrugated-looking box on the right is an RT from the mid-80's or so. It contains technology that was on the bleeding edge... a billion years ago. It's fiber-fed, like other RTs. Not only does it serve POTS ("regular" phone) and T-1 type lines, it also can serve ISDN (woo!).

The box on the left is indeed a VRAD from the U-Verse era.

And in the middle, we have a cross-connect box. Looks to be the same vintage as the VRAD cabinet.
