| modem loses sync, everytime it lightnings hey, i have the at&t 3meg package, had it since long before it was at&t again, recently upgraded to a westell 6100 from a 2200.
now my internet service works flawlessly, right up until the point it starts lightning, i've noticed whenever it does that, i lose sync, and it has to reconnect to the servers.
couple months ago i had some trouble with it, and they had to check the lines, they had made the mistake of running my line out of the way around a couple blocks, when they did this. they setup a phoneline in the house just for the modem, so i no longer need filters anymore.
any thoughts as to why i would lose sync during lightning?
i must also say, it just started doing this in the past month or two. before that it wouldn't happen |

Morganton, NC | Known issue with the 6100, if you search the forums you will see numerous posts about this.
Outside of this problem, the 6100 is a great modem.

Go back to the 2200 and see if you have the same problems. You probably won't. |
