We have wireless here in this small city Norwich N.Y. provided to us with the help of a $200,000 grant from the state, and the cooperation of the local telco Frontier.
We have RoadRunner thru Timewarner and DSL thru Frontier neither offers speeds or pricing which are competitive, 4 and 3 meg speeds respectively.
Getting wireless from the same telco seems to have been designed to eliminate competition and put state tax money in to the right pockets.
