Re: Sprint is better.

Helio does (smaller carrier, they have to price lower to compete). Alltel I don't believe does. They do have a 20 'My Circle' plan for the same price if I recall which is semi-unlimited pretty much.

Re: Sprint is better.

Helio is right now $99 for Unlimited All In. It's usually $145. There's a $30 or $35 activation fee, and using Garmin GPA is either $2.99/day or $9.99 a month. You also need to pay $9.99/month for MS Exchange email. I don't think either are bad prices for add ons.

Yeah Verizon is bigger, but Helio piggybacks on Sprint and Verizon at no charge, so you get those networks. MVNO not looking so bad in this light.

That and considering the business plan Helio's limited customer base and lean (comparatively) business model could cleanup nicely when compared to the behemoths of VZ and Sprint.

Yup, I use Helio and personally I luv it. I get the best of both worlds and pay less then either of em alone. Granted they don't have the best phone selection but the phones they do have utterly rock.

They have had an unlimited plan since they started basically and kinda funny how the "Big Boys" are finally catching up. The catch here is, everything is unlimited not just voice. Text, Web browsing, messenger services, You Tube, My Space and countless other things all for $99 a month. Sprint and VRZ at this rate will not even come close to what Helio can and does already offer ppl. Sit and compare what is offered by each when it is said and done and you will see where ya would come out better.

Sry bout the rant but ppl make a huge deal out of this just because a "Big" company does it when another company has offered this type of service for over a year.

Helio is unlimited minutes, I'd say that trounces your 500 minutes.

Where? All I see is a $99/month 2000 minute plan.

When I was a Sprint customer, it was $199 month for Unlimited everything.

Yeah, but don't you find it funny that Sprint "mentions" it, then VZ, not to be outdone, want's to be first to market with it? Those 5 markets were test beds. There is nothing much for Sprint do to open it up in all it's markets. But the price needs to be better.

Besides that, Nextel offered a unlimited everything plan for $99 - this was when verizons largest plans were ~2500mins for $199 or something similar.
