$100 plus...

$100 does not include activation, taxes, fees, un-fees, $500 ETF, and everything else that Verizon decides to add after you sign the contract.

I would think that prices for "unlimited" service would be artificially high in order to rope in customers that think they are getting a better deal than their current minute limited plan. Personally, I don't see a reason to switch since even during my heaviest usage month the amount of overages I paid still doesn't equal the amount Vz or Spring charges on a month by month basis, but that's just me.

...the etf is not $500, its 175 starting, and goes down every month by $10 (another industry first!) also, if you already have service with verizon there wont be any activation fees or any fees at all when you change the plan. there ARE activation fees if you start service...just like EVER other carrier. Also, there wont be an ETF if you keep your service...duh....

Interesting, I didn't pay any kind of activation fee on my Sprint SERO service.
