I found this under "achived products" on the Linksys page Home &raquo;Products &raquo; Archived Products &raquo; AM300 <br><br>As far as I know the ONLY Linksys modem that Walmart sells is a cable modem which will obviously not work with ADSL and ADSL2+ that CenturyTel offers.<br><small>--<br>10,000/768 CenturyTel PPPoE DSL line (really 5,000/768 ;))</small>]]></description>

So unless you have fiber to your house (which you don't if you have a modem already), don't go sending your Westell back to CenturyTel and expect a Linksys to do everything for you.   ;)]]></description>
