Does anyone out there on this site, use GoogleTalk to send and recieve files?

If so, can I get some help?

I can send files to people, but I can't receive any for some reason.

 Are you trying to receive on a residential connection, or a school/business/etc? If it's not a residential connection there's always the possibility that it's being blocked.

Otherwise, do you have a personal firewall running on your machine that may be interfering? Here's the list of required ports and protocols according to Google's help page: »www.google.com/support/talk/bin/···er=27930
