After ten years: Time to look for another ISP

I have been a customer with Isomedia for ten years.

I have always been happy with the service. And happy with the company.

Until recently.

The last few months, all of my connections have been routed through:

Ad-Base Systems
325 Mt Lebanon Blvd
Pittsburgh, PA 15234

I have also been unable to utilize any connection whatever, unless I accept their DNS service.

Having to accept a proxy through them, and having to accept DNS service through them... is bad enough.

Now: I cannot make any sort of connection whatever, unless I allow them UDP access to my computer.

This has become totally unacceptable.

I contacted technical support and was pretty much told, "Too bad". "This is normal."

Well, it hasn't been "normal" for most of ten years.

I have always used Isomedia's own DNS servers. (Isomedia's DNS servers do not work at all for me, anymore.) And I have never been 'proxied' by them through someone else, inmvisibly, or otherwise...

As I said, this is totally unnacceptable.

I am beginning, today, to look for a different ISP.
