Re: Gas Range BTU questions The answer would depend on differences in efficiency of the 2 burners in getting heat into your pot of water. This process is not going to be 100% efficient. There would be other variables to consider in addition to the BTU rating of the burner. Given that a stove has a relatively small gas usage compared to other appliances like a furnace, water heater, clothes dryer, etc., I would imagine the impact on your total bill would be negligible. |
