Helio was a little better than cricket, but the cripled Bluetooth the "top" Ocean phone was enough to really piss me off. Cricket is an absolute joke and not even worth mentioning.
I thought Helio was just an MVNO riding atop Sprint's EVDO network? |

| They are. But oddly enough, while my Virgin Mobile (also rides on sprint) gets great reception, often better than sprint phones themselves, the Helio was horrible. And it's not just one particular VM phone that I've had good luck with, every single one of them has worked in areas people's sprint phones can get a signal in.
