They have by far the worst reception. Their pricing is cheap because they skimp on the towers.
If you travel out of your region, you are SOL. The phone aint going to work at all.

| Re: Hello! I use Virgin Mobile pre-paid also since I almost never use my cell phone. It's just nice to have if I'm traveling or going out to meet people. I pay $15 every 90 days... so about $5 a month, 18 cents a minute.
If you're signed up for Minute2Minute or 18¢ TALK, here's how you can keep your account running for less!
Sign up for one of our $15 Auto Top-Up options and instead of having to add $20 every 90 days to keep your service working, you'll only need to add $15. For small talkers, that can work out to a $20 break over the year.

@comcast.net | I can get MetroPCS/$50 unlimited talk time one flat rate with the extras (text, web access etc). If you live in select metropolitan areas get Metro its the best bang for the buck.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - T-Mobile USA, owned by Deutsche Telekom AG (DTEGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research), said on Tuesday it would offer unlimited text messaging and voice calls for $99.99 a month, starting on Thursday February 21.
The company's current offerings include unlimited text messaging for $14.99 and 5,000 minutes of calls for $129.99, according to spokesman Peter Dobrow.
The fourth biggest U.S. mobile service unveiled the plan hours after its two biggest rivals AT&T Inc (T.N: Quote, Profile, Research) and Verizon Wireless announced unlimited voice plans for $99.99.
