 [Info] DAP-1555 Discontinued

I received this response from D-Link sales to a query about DAP-1555 functionality.

"Hello, and thank you for your inquiry, unfortunately the DAP-1555 has been discontinued, and will be replaced by the DAP-1522,no ETA for this unit as of yet."

I couldn't find any information other than the WI-FI certification specs.

Fantastic....I wonder if they are still planning on supporting the DAP-1555 or if us DAP-1555 owners get a free upgrade. Any contacts that we can talk to? Thanks.

D-Link hasn't stopped selling them on their web site, so I doubt it's discontinued. The person who told you this likely made an error. It makes no sense to discontinue a product before its replacement is on the market.

I checked directly with D-Link marketing. The D-Link sales person was misinformed. The DAP-1555 has not been discontinued.
The DAP-1522 is coming, but it will have a different feature set from the DAP-1555, so won't be a direct replacement.
