What you are describing is generally caused by Charter's slow DNS servers. My internet went out for about 30min this morning, and had that info in modem log when it came online. My internet has been touch and go since then, slow browsing, etc. Just wondering if that could be why cause everything else checks out except lots of timeouts with pings, etc.

My pings to games are fine, downloads are great, just websurfing and general "slowness" feel when starting a connection to a server at first.
