My company is open for business today, but I stayed home. Between this cold that I have, & the mixture of ice/sleet/slop that they are calling for, I am not dealing with it.
I agree, meskinct. I, too, am a member of the winter hater club. I cannot wait until it is in the 70s & 80s. |

| Yeah, this winter has been pretty darn weak. You know it's a lame winter when here we are, end of February, and Dr. Mel is going ga-ga on TV over this being "the biggest storm of the season!". Furthermore, we're getting less than a foot.
Gloat, yes....but it's all relative. 
Although, my wife and I recently got back into skiing. We've learned that about 2-2.5 hours north from here, there's significantly more snow.

I also plan on malingering today, principally because of the forcast for sleet and freezing rain.
I also await the arrival of spring! And summer! (My favorite season.)

Yep, 27 more days! I know that as far as the weather goes that means nothing, but we can at least say there's light at the end of the tunnel.
Pleekmo, Summer is also my favorite season. The only thing I like about Winter is Christmas. After that, I think that we should just skip right to May.
Subaru, you must really dread bad weather with a job like that. Do they allow you to call out if it's going to be really bad out? |

4-5" in Windsor, HOTDZ. I ventured out to lunch, it's not bad as there wasn't much traffic. Snow's not real fluffy, but not heavy.
It gets a little slick underfoot when it get compressed.

2 full days of shubbellin and blowin snow = Old man bones & muscle aches last night.
Still had enough juice to go see "Bucket List" last night.
Good movie. As a very lucky Cancer survivor, I can relate.
A nice Sunday nap and the old man is back up to snuff.
What a beautiful day today (Sunday).
Almost a waste to nap it away... almost. |

I got the play with the snowblower, the quad and the Jeep. So, all in all, a good storm. Would have liked more snow though.

I've heard that this has been one of the "wettest" Februarys on record. They said if converted to all liquid, it's been a very heavy month of precipitation.
