:You can also return the modem to a local Bell World store where all we need back is the modem and power supply.
There seems to be constant debate on whether that's all BW stores or only company-owned ones or which phase the moon is at. Is there an authoritative answer?
Now suppose you return the modem to a BW and get the receipt. What happens when you get the mailing from Bell with the bar-coded sticker that identifies your modem? ISTM it is then a hassle to prove to Bell that you already returned that modem to BW and for Bell to then find it deep within the black hole of Progistix. I would rather wait for the mailing and do everything by the book. I have already had more hassles from the Bell bureaucracy than I can bear.

:another question, give tsi 5-7 business day before cancel date with bell?
What I actually posted was "wait until 5 to 7 business days before your cancellation with Bell
is effective before you sign up with TSI." IOW after you give Bell 30 days notice, you can wait 23 to 25 days before you sign up with TSI if you do not want to pay for the same line twice for a month. In any case you will need to pay twice for the 5-7 days if you want any hope of not getting your line card pulled.
I work a privately owned Bell World store and we accept modems.
