| Wireless Access Point and a Arescom NETDSL 800 Modem Ok, i admit im a bit of a noob, but please know that i have tried the search (not very helpful) and have browsed through the forums for relevant info.
I was under the impression that the NETDSL 800 was a router. It does NAT right, assigns me an 192.X.X.X address right? So was it completely stupid of me to assume i could hook up a wireless access point to it and have no headaches???
I can hook up to the access point fine, but cannot pull an IP from the internet. (it actually did work briefly, once with my desktop, and once with my laptop, but not at the same time) I thought i had read on another post that the NETDSL800 will not issue more than 1 IP??
So is the case I need to take this WAP back and get a wireless router??
