I recall that I had similiar problems when I installing SP2 when it came out. Had to figure out some tweaks to get past it to make it work.
But, for now, if you have any tips on how to solve this issue, I would be very gratefull. Otherwise Im just going to wait a while to see that either:
A) Microsoft fixes this in SP3 general release OR
B) Some hacker hacks this whole product key stuff related to SP3 install and then I install SP3 regardless of my product key being "bad".
I dont really and honestly care anymore which one happens first. Im so fed up with these MS updates not working and not installing that any hack to get them actually working is welcome. |
