 | Why not hand over channels 2..6 to them? TV broadcasters are abandoning VHF-LO (Channels 2..6). Hand it over to broadband, and let them use that 30 megs to their hearts' content.
I'm in Canada, so FCC won't listen to me, but here's what I fear if this stuff gets into Canada. I'm in greater Toronto, 6th floor condo facing SSE, great *DIGITAL* OTA (including hi-def) TV reception from Toronto and Buffalo. Look Ma, no cable. The signals I pick up are quite weak, but perfectly usable. Somebody near street level won't be able to detect the weak signals, and could destroy my reception. |
