I have no doubts the infrastructure here can handle 16mbit, however I'm *not* holding out hope for the upgrade any time soon because there is simply no competition in this area besides Verizon DSL (Fios is still a loooong ways away) and Charter's current 10mbit is in reality pretty good.<br><br>I guess this is my biggest gripe:  Announced upgrades never get to us outside the "top 15" markets or whatever, we're always in last place, bottom of the barrel...]]></description>
