Re: FTP throttling? Don't know what you're using for your FTP client, but that could be the problem.
I recently tried uploading a fairly large file (~35 MB IIRC) via FTP just using the client built into Windows, and it kept slowing down until it timed out altogether.
Then I tried with Filezilla and it worked just fine.
(All over a 6/384 Comcast connection, btw). |

Bountiful, UT | I tried both the WinXP Pro client and CuteFTP Pro as well. The server is WarFTPd though - I concede it could be part or all of the problem, but this sure raised a red flag for me... |
