| Dear Comcast Get a Backbone
o not understand why Comcast puts up with this crap. It is their network. If the A Democrat what pull the net socialism crap ten I would have a poison pill. If it was me:
If net Neutrality Laws are pass them immediately all broadband will be cap at 3Megs max. 2. It will not be in our interest to upgrade the connection. 3. we will pursue private upgrade options for customers willing to pay. If you the customer, do any thing than degrades the node,we will gladly refund your last payment, terminate all services, and send a technician to cut and remove the cable from your property. Google can go to hell. If Google wants to complain we can have our lawyers make a contract to wave any liabilities and we can meet in any box gym or street conner to settle it like men. If you can knock me out you win or I going to wipe the floor with wiry whiny ass face send you back to your hole in an ambulance. The only way I will listen to Google if the CEO fights me. Heck we will put on UFC pay per view. [see my reply] |

I take it you are a Comcast Executive who makes these policies? If not, then I predict you are gonna get your tail feathers singed. |

| reply to Richard B The first three points I am dead serious. If the government want to try to regulated a private business. If Comcast is forced to treat all packets the same then the should do so at the lowest common denominator.
As for the last part it just my sarcastic self. It inside joke to about those who I so cheesed at, that the only way I would do something for them is they would have to fight me and win. I am a lager person. In this case Google. This whole government inquiry is about Google wanting to expand it business but does not want to spend dollars investing in infrastructure. Why invest in telecoms when you buy some lobbyist and activist to scram Net Neutrality. Thats my story and I am sticking to it. |

| Did you miss the part about public utility? Franchise monopoly? Cable companies trade their 'private business rights' for 'regulated business obligations' when they strike monopoly deals with the communities they serve. (or pillage, as the case may be) Just like phone companies and power companies, they may not choose their customers. In fact, even 'private businesses' that offer goods and services to the public, e.g. Cracker Barrel, may not turn away customers on a whim. And of course, Comcast isn't a 'private business' either: »finance.yahoo.com/q?s=CMCSA
I don't have strong opinions about traffic throttling one way or the other, but it's not hard to see that Comcast regularly abuses their customers, lies to the public, and exerts far to much influence on the political process. »en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coercive_monopoly
Richard, aside from being troubled by english grammar and apparently quite hirsute, you don't seem to have very good grasp of capitalism, democracy, or the rule of law. Perhaps you should follow a few of these links. |

Thank you for your lucid, literate, and very informed thoughts on the subject. Now just what was it that Google isn't doing? -- »www.lp.org/issues/family-budget.shtml
