That's the way to go. If you do too much for a girl that you've only been talking to for about 2 months, then you come off looking like you are trying to impress her, or pay for her affection. Do something fun, light-hearted, and inexpensive, but allows you two to spend quality time together. I would suggests dinner, maybe the aquarium, or the museum (probably the museum of science since you can actually fool around with the exhibits and have fun).

In that case... an inexpensive, quirky, early dinner, and early movie, and a walk through the streets, holding hands. Maybe sit on a park bench and tell her of all your dreams... or, better still, have her tell YOU whatever is on her mind. (less brain-taxing, that way.)
