He's gonna see some great artists, and hang out w/ some great people for a few days. Weather says we're gonna get soaked all weekend, but we've all been wet before, so it's no big deal to us.
Besides... with the predicted violent sudden thunderstorms, we MAY get to witness another "Miracle In The Mountains". |

| We didn't originally think we'd have Internet access as this motel only has dialup access... but, lucky us... the motel directly next door has a wide-open WiFi available. WooHoo! Gungerdin is taking Beaver down to the lake to visit w/ the Lake Flower Geese. Beavers don't eat birds, do they? I hope not. |

Last night while out on the town, I ran into the band "Enter The Haggis" (who is playing on Sunday) and had a great time with them. This is going to be amazing, folks. |

We have returned from day one of Beaverfest. We have many pictures, but not up for posting any tonight. The crowd was unfortunately thinner than last year, and there was fewer top flight acts performing and less of them. We did have to endure about 5 dismal, uninspired events of drivel, but were rewarded with 3 episodes of absolute brilliance, genius and inspiration. Kudos to The Horse Flies, King Wilkie and of course, Chris Hillman Band.Quite a day, quite a day..... |
