| Help Motorola Cablecard Hello,
So I am trying to setup my cable card in my Samsung LN-s4096D but all I get is a "Updating channels list" message. I have a Motorola cablecard (see below for information). Basically the cable guy only inserted the card on the TV, called in the ID and left. He ignored the error message on the screen that said in short "Validity period of CableCardtm invalid". I resolved this by setting up the date on the TV and reseting the card. Almost immediately I got the CableCARD(tm) Pairing screen. but now I receive the "Updating channels list" on all the channels on my tv but I can see that my card has not downloaded the channel lineup. Finally I can't see any of the digital/HD channels. I called RCN many times but they are not willing to review the card information. They argue that because the cable guy setup the card, everything is in order.
I would like to know is if according to the information below, my card is correct so I don't keep calling RCN. Please tell me specifically what is wrong if any.
