| misprision of treason? this sounds like misprision of treason dressed up in copyright infringement - perhaps the jusge thought he was protecting against defamation by causing the documents to be removed but not the whole site. Some other court will have to decide whether there was any merit to the whistleblowing claim and that, if true, the whole civil machinery will creak into action. However, nobody should be surprised a Swiss bank is zealously guarding it's customers' activities - what surprises more is that a Swiss bank allowed documentation linking names and accounts out in the first place, internet or fax machine! |
