Sorry, but I'm not clear on what I need to do to get monitored.

Don't I need to fill out »/schedule/signup/0 ?

My test records to date are for Earthlink Cable, which I had installed 04-29-10 due to the many disconnects with Verizon DSL that I have been experiencing since February. Therefore, my test records may not be suitable for adding to the VZ group.

At this moment, EL Cable has been down since 11:30am. I did a manual failover to VZ DSL. Eventually, I hope to have a Dual WAN router with load-balancing and automatic failover and to be monitoring both lines.

Yes - complete the info for your Verizon line. The opening post of this thread gives more information on how to do this.

I have no idea how you would set up a dual wan router with load-balancing and auto failover for line monitoring though. You might want to ask about that in our Site Help forum:

Started getting disconnects a couple of days ago. Oddly enough my speed when connect had been increased (Verizon working on something?).

2 days on the phone, one visit from a tech at my home/house, and a new modem later........ Same problems.

Although now my old Westel Wirespeed seems to work better then the Westel 6100g they sent out.

And on top of all this, I'm trying to get them to upgrade me to the 3m line.

If they don't get back to me by the end of the day (Verizon tech guys in truck), they want me to start the "phone" process all over again.
