Go here: » /monit ··· red/mineThe select "edit". On the next page at the bottom is a button for "Stop Monitor" That will delete your Line Monitor. Do you also need for me to take you out of that group? If so let me know and I will do that. If you are going to another ISP that would be a good idea. |

I don't use Kaspersky so I don't know how you would make it pingable. Sorry.
Would you still like me to send you an invite so that you can see if the line monitor would still work for you? |

Is there still actvity underway to get the monitors working again for dynamic IP addresses? My DSL changed IP address and the monitor still has not picked up the new IP address after about 6 days. Status is showing "no data available to draw graph" |

Just edit your line monitor settings and update your public IP address. Make sure you also have the "Dynamic IP" box checked. Then click on update monitor at the bottom of the page to save. There was some glitches during the move. » Topic for site switch-to-new-servers glitches» DeeEnEs - Unknown Error |

Thanks,
So you need to "seed" the tool with your public IP address first? and then it should track any changes?
I put my dyndns address in earlier today and left the static IP box empty. After 4 hours it had not updated.
This is the problem I saw earlier: when my public IP changed, the site tool did not pick up the new one.
I just manually seeded the IP address box, will wait for the monitor to start tracing and will force an IP address change to see what happens.
It is tracking now, waiting for an address change......
BTW...The Dyndns seems to be working because if I ping it, my real public IP is resolved. |

I don't use Dyndns or DeeEnEs so I'm not sure.
I have pointed someone who might be able to help to you.
I know that I shut down my monitor just before the move and after the move I had a heck of a time getting a new monitor to start populating but it finally did so earlier this week. |

Yes. You should put your current IP in the static box, check the dynamic box, and put your dyndns hostname in the 'IP from this DNS' box. |

Could the tool be broken again?
I manually entered my IP and dyndns host name, saw it was recording, and forced an IP change. 4 hours later it has not updated. Tag is: basic #252162
