| I just updated Wireshark and WinPCap so I could capture the request to see if I could get more info, and Lo and Behold, the download/install seems to be working with no errors now.
I updated at bugzilla, it appears the bug is still open. My guess is that some buggy hash generating/checking code has been replicated to some of the server mirrors.
The issue as reported elsewhere in Bugzilla is/was that when a user downloaded any file (let it be an add-on or a product release file), the server(s) sent zero-byte responses (with a HTTP 200 response code) instead of actual data.
There may still be some servers with that code. If possible, please try to get a Wireshark capture and report in bug 420278 in bugzilla - they indicated that would be helpful as the assignees are unable to reproduce the bug at their locations.
