Bring the TV to the install

Consider the amount of people signing up for FiOS and the amount of TVs they are going through - it is a huge undertaking. What may make more sense, if possible, is have the tech bring the TV or Best Buy card to the install and be done with it as it surely would be cheaper in the long run vs. staffing people dedicated to TV promos, mailing letters and IT cost of having a special system to request your gift.

Nah, then you would have people cancel the next day and keep the TV.

then u'd have people saying the tech stole my tv/gc/ect... I got the same responce when iworked installing DirecTv when they was giving away free portable dvd players, i'd have people ask where it is, and i politl had to say i have no idea what promo they got u to sign up with, you ned to call directv to inquire about that.

Then the Verizon credit people should ruin the customers credit! If someone would sign up for FiOS and cancel it the next day for a free $200.00 TV, those types on average, likey would not be approved for service without a large deposit – so if they stole the TV they would lose their deposit! Worse case, the credit people ruin their credit.

Certainly, the customer would have to sign that they received the gift and agree with the terms of receipt.

It really shouldn't be so complicated.
