Re: Club fed is way too forgiving While ginning up sympathy for The Rigas Family is unlikely on my part, as it would only give me a hernia from all the effort, I do get a kick out of the comments of some:

Ahh, the Pavlovian buzz words of The Squawking Heads, as they construct the piss-off of the day for their listeners. And the listeners, if they investigated the less-than-salubrious conditions in most(Admittedly not all, like Allenwood Minimum Security) Federal Lockups, would wonder when we returned to The Middle Ages, or chose Andersonville as our modern prison model.
But hey, it makes radio that people listen to, for a release from their swirling gray maelstrom of despair and gives them a focus of blame and anger for the frustrating lives they live. After all, it ain't them doing time.
Well, yet, anyway. After all, 25% of our population is or has been incarcerated. Throwing happy asses in jail is just good bidness. Ask CCA.
Still, it's hard to sympathize with The Rigas Family and those so like them and whose numbers are legion. The Criminals in Cravats, you know? |
