The old man would be a dead man for the turmoil that family put me through not knowing if the Sabres last game ever in Buffalo was just around the corner. lol... Another poor soul who has been fooled into worshiping sports figures. Sad. 
I live in Philadelphia and hope all of the sports teams move out soon. My taxes would drop because I wouldn't have to pay for new stadiums, police protection for the fat slob athletes, traffic congestion, etc.
The reasons to hate the Rigas family are many, but they should have something to do with the pain and suffering he caused the Adelphia investors and the residents of Potter County, PA.
Not because of a group of overpaid pseudo athletes on skates.

| Nope. We're keeping them. 
And Pif, if you think taxes would go down if they left - I highly doubt it. They should, but I don't see the city doing it. Once the money streams in, why would they turn it away? They'll just find other reasons why they need to keep it.

| Before you guys got Biron this time last year and then Briere at the end of the Season thanks to our Management not offering him better money first, i might add. It did look like the Flyers were done. But i will tell you the same thing I tell my stepdad and any other Flyers fan. Your welcome. (for Biron and Briere) Without Biron your team would be crushed again. without Briere you would have no assists for others to score with.
