These companies have to actually make some money back on this stuff. It's not realistic to think that every ISP has the same type of budget that Comcast, AT&T, and Verizon have to deploy FTTH.

Additionally, there are vehicles sold in the U.S. that can reach speeds up to 120-160 mph. A sane person wouldn't try to max out the speedometer, yet those particular models with the capabilities are still sold. Why?
