battery is useless, even in case of blackout... if u have digital voice, it dies anyway.
Don't talk about topics if you don't know about them. If your power goes out, your phone will still work, as long as the cable system hasn't lost power outside, which doesn't happen during many power outages.

you would be surprised at the number of people who do not understand this.. thinking the modem battery will run their cordless phone..

if they had a phone that was powered by the phone line, then it would work during a power outage..
