Re: The ultimate solution to piracy... I'd agree with you there. When dvd's were fairly new, it used to be they'd be cheapest at release, then go to regular price after that. But now its on sale at release, up to regular price.. 6 months later on the super cheap sale rack  So now you may as well obtain a temporary copy until it comes down to an affordable level. That way you're showing the industry what you're budget can afford.
They often rant about how many $ they lose (by their own math), but they fail to ask the question could the people download that stuff, actually afford all that they download. More then likely they couldn't.
Still I understand their argument, its hard to compete with free, especially when the free product is superior as well. DRM Free, higher quality etc.. |
