fwiw, you can pull the battery if you want. that will accomplish what you want to do. your not going to pay any more rental for it. the modem rental is three dollars no matter what you have. as far as hold times, yea they are long for contractors and techs in the philadelphia region BUT the tech shouldnt have to call dispatch to swap a modem. its because techs dont want to follow protocall that results in the long hold times. techs have a whole slew of numbers to use and still just call dispatch to do it. they have tier2, ivr, and the walled garden number but they still insist on calling the one number. |
