It's not like Comcast is deploying a brand new technology that's merely FTTN in 2008 with exploding batteries in their VRADs (AT&T anyone?). I'd also watch your words you never know how knowledgable a mere anon user may be.

The likelihood of Comcast and AT&T having exploding nodes are virtually identical. They all use batteries.

Don't be a hater just because Comcast looked into the future 15 years ago and saw fiber optics as it's future path.
