AT&T's worldwide network is former AT&T ("the old" AT&T) IIRC, while their broadband is the old SBC/BellSouth- probably not the best metric there. |

With U-Verse, I believe that you can only be watching HD quality programming on one TV at a time..where as FiOS that is not the case. You can infer one of two things: a) Their network cannot support the load. b) They are bandwidth nazis
