Search news.google.com for the terms Comcast Insight and there is a fair amount of press regarding the many problems consumers had using their telephone, Cable TV, and Internet products over the past 3 weeks. Not only that, Comcast was not keeping up with support calls, leaving many customers -- those whose phones were not also out -- to hang up without any service. Many wound up without service for several days.
Further compounding the problem, bills were sent out giving the telephone number of the Logan County Clerk as a complaint line. Since Federal deregulation, Logan County has had no role in overseeing or regulating those services.
