Why are these companies partnering with another service provider? They should just sell their own DVR hardware and save their customer from paying the pointless Tivo Tax.
A PVR should never have a monthly cost unless you are leasing it. I just cannot understand why anyone would buy a Tivo. It s like buying your computer for $500 and then having to pay a monthly fee for no reason to use it.
Tivo is the biggest scam of the 21st century. Replay TV was so much better.
I do not pay a monthly fee to use my Windows media center PC which does everything a Tivo does. -- »www.ryanoneill.us
