Not seeing the big picture.

This is great for cable companies in the short run but not in the long run. Every year more and more people ditch wireline phone service and go wireless only. Eventually a good portion of those subs that cable has scooped up will leave to go wireless only and go right back to AT&T,Verizon,Sprint unless cable gets off their ASS and starts offering a competitive wireless voice product pronto.

And everyday we scare people into getting CDV because 911 will know where you are when you call and might not if you call from a cellphone.

Even my POS $19.99 cell can show where it is for Emergency Services(think 911).

That's telling you and me that Positioning is connected.
This phone's location can be seen.

This is an El Cheapo cell phone... WTF phone or service do you have that they cannot locate?
