This is great for cable companies in the short run but not in the long run. Every year more and more people ditch wireline phone service and go wireless only.
And everyday we scare people into getting CDV because 911 will know where you are when you call and might not if you call from a cellphone.

Even my POS $19.99 cell can show where it is for Emergency Services(think 911).

See the cross hairs on the right of this image?
That's telling you and me that Positioning is connected.
This phone's location can be seen.

This is an El Cheapo cell phone... WTF phone or service do you have that they cannot locate?
