<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1429195"><b>proletarian2</b></A> : Am I the only one that thinks that Tivo's subscriptions have always been a little on the steep side? (no, i don't need a tivo fanboy's response listing all their cutesy features). <br><br>For the "average" dvr user like myself, just give me a box with a hard drive and a program guide to set recordings. <br><br>Aside from access to the program guide and remote scheduling, am I missing something here? <br><br>While I do think the Tivo HD is reasonably priced, I think committing yourself to a three year plan is a little much to get the monthly fees down to earth. ]]></description>
