Re: So much for my streak of error-free bills... This is a charge not associated with Verizon in any way. They are simply the billing agent for these companies. When you call ask Verizon to add a bill block to your account. It is free and it stops any company (other than Verizon) to add charges to your account. It is up to the company in question to actually credit the charges although Verizon will place a hold on the amount so you don't accrue late charges till the issue is resolved. I would also like to add that I think the customer service is awesome at Verizon. They bent over backwards with me to resolve an issue I had which actually was a billing error with their system. They didn't try to deny that there was a problem and did everything possible (and more) to resolve it as quickly as possible. If you treat their agents with respect they return it to you ten fold. I will never switch! FIOS is the most awesome new technology there is. |
