| Re: WOW! What you're referring to is called 'channel bonding' and it was a technology that gave you almost ISDN speeds (128Kbps up) with a pair of modems, assuming you had 2 clean phone lines to get two good connections.
Most ISP's backed away from supporting this as DSL and cable superseded ISDN and dialup. I checked with my dialup provider awhile ago and they abandoned channel bonding in favor of faster cable service.
