Is b/c you are using an old speedstream that will only connect @ 8meg due to the limitations of ADSL1 - ADSL2+ is what is being used to deploy the 10meg service. Your best bet is to get a good SOHO router and connect it to the bridged 660r. |

| As noted in the update, I now have a 660R and DO now get the full 10/1 speeds - the modem is bridged and connected to my router, which is configured for my static IP and connected to a 24 port switch which feeds 8 computers including two full-time streaming audio servers.
