So SBC bought AT&T, and then BellSouth. Some of the systems didn't match BUT they all worked, so what did the execs do? They got a new system and didn't test it, and it doesn't work. If you have a problem creating your username, then your screwed... I spent 6 hours working with a customer yesterday who had already worked with 'tech support' in India for 4 hours Friday and he still doesn't have a username. In fact in one system he doesn't and in another he's a business customer. One group says that his account is inactive but billing has it active since December. I'm an employee and our support personal hung up on my over 5 times. Why this guy wants to remain a customer of ours I don't understand. -- I've worked for BellSouth/'new at&t' for over 10 years as an outside tech, so I prefer to remain unknown, but I want others to know the truth about the 'new at&t':they are all about profit and not supporting the customer or the employee. |
